Description

The Metadata Structure step will read the fields of a stream and output their metadata.
If requested the row count of the stream will be calculated as well. This step can be used to document a stream structure using a Pentaho Data Integration transformation.

This step was first introduced in version 3.1.0-RC1 (PDI-1235)

Property Description
Output Row Count Flag if the rows should be counted
Field for row count

 Name of the new field for the row count.  The same value will be written to all the result rows.
