    As an FYI, using the YUI tabbed interface was the first component I used in my Guided Ad Hoc example which was the Variance sample. Now with the release of CDF, we now use the CDF tabbed component instead. I added the YUI sample to the platform, about 2 years ago.

    You were in fact my inspiration for this effort! Once I saw what you did with the tabbed interface, I wanted to see how far I could take it.

     I do think YUI is a more rich library than jQuery used in CDF, but jQuery is certainly lighter.  I also find the jQuery javascript harder to explain to people beginning javascript.
