XY Area Chart

The XY area chart consists of pairs of values (plotted as points) on a line for each series in the given dataset. Each line is then filled with the series color. An XY area chart will have two numeric axes.

Dataset Guidelines

The xy area chart expects its data as an XY dataset.

Required Properties

The following properties are required by an XY area chart:

chart-type

<chart-type>AreaChart</chart-type>

dataset-type

<dataset-type>XYSeriesCollection</dataset-type>

The optional chart properties that are supported for an xy area chart are listed in the Chart Properties Reference.
